Meet Pastor Keon
The gospel belongs
in everyday life.
Keon Lashon Abner serves as the Lead Pastor of Bridge City Church in Cleveland’s Clark-Fulton neighborhood, giving himself to preaching, prayer, discipleship, and the care of God’s people.
An ordained Teaching Elder in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Keon longs to see a church formed by grace, grounded in Scripture, and sent to bear witness to Jesus in everyday life.
Alongside his ministry at BCC, he serves as the Regional Church Planting Director for the EPC Northeast, supporting church plants across the Presbyteries of the Alleghenies and the East.

Keon is Ashley Cherise’s husband and dad to Kailyn, Ashtyn, and Brooklyn. His love for people, sense of humor, and commitment to Cleveland shape the way he serves the church and city.
He serves alongside fellow elders in prayer, accountability, and discernment. All elders share the work of shepherding.
